What Free Play Days Means for Xbox Players

Free Play Days is a recurring program that gives eligible Xbox members temporary access to a handful of selected games. During the event window, you can download and play the full game without purchasing it. It's a risk-free way to try something new or revisit a favorite.

If you enjoy a title enough to keep playing, you can usually buy it at a discount during the event. Your progress typically carries over, so you can continue right where you left off if you decide to purchase it.

Be sure to check the exact start and end times on the Xbox Store, as they can vary by region. Downloading early is a good idea so you're ready to play the moment the event begins.

PAYDAY 3 Brings Cooperative Heist Chaos Back

PAYDAY 3 returns players to the world of the Payday gang, who are pulled out of retirement for another round of high-stakes crime. Set in New York City, the game blends first-person shooting with careful planning and teamwork. Each heist can unfold in different ways depending on your approach.

You can choose stealth, going in quietly to avoid alerting guards and police, or go loud with guns blazing. Communication with your crew is key, since one mistake can turn a smooth job into a frantic firefight. Playing with friends makes the experience especially memorable.

The Free Play Days event is a great chance to test out the heists, weapons, and skill upgrades. If you like cooperative games that reward coordination, this one is worth a look.

Anno 117 Invites You to Build Rome

Anno 117 takes the long-running city-building series to the Roman Empire. Players construct thriving settlements, manage resources, and balance the needs of their citizens while expanding across the provinces. The setting offers rich opportunities for trade, diplomacy, and ambitious architecture.

Success depends on careful production chains and smart logistics. As your population grows, so do their demands, and keeping everyone happy requires planning and adaptability. The satisfaction of watching a small outpost become a bustling city is hard to beat.

For fans of relaxed yet deep strategy, this free trial offers plenty of time to explore the systems. Even a short session can show how rewarding the genre can be.

BALL x PIT Delivers Addictive Roguelike Action

BALL x PIT combines ball-launching mechanics with roguelike progression and base-building elements. You fire balls at waves of enemies, evolve your arsenal, and fuse new abilities together to create powerful combinations. Each run feels different thanks to the variety of upgrades and strategies.

The game is easy to pick up but offers surprising depth as you unlock characters and improve your town between runs. Its fast pace makes it perfect for quick sessions or longer play streaks. It's the sort of title where "just one more run" quickly becomes a habit.

Deceive Inc Rewards Cunning and Stealth

Deceive Inc is a multiplayer spy game where disguise and deception are your best tools. Players blend into crowds, hack security systems, and complete objectives while avoiding detection by rival agents. The stylish spy aesthetic adds to the fun.

Every match becomes a tense game of cat and mouse. You never know whether the person standing next to you is an NPC or an enemy operative. Using gadgets and abilities wisely can turn the tide in your favor.

With Free Play Days, you can try the different agents and find the playstyle that suits you. It's an inventive twist on competitive multiplayer.

Age of Wonders 4 Offers Deep Fantasy Strategy

Age of Wonders 4 is a turn-based fantasy strategy game that lets you shape your own faction. You customize your ruler, choose a race, and pick magical traits that define how your empire grows. The result is a unique story every time you play.

Tactical battles and empire management work together, giving you plenty of strategic choices. You can expand through conquest, diplomacy, or magical mastery. The game rewards creative thinking and careful planning.

Strategy fans will find a lot to enjoy here, and the free trial gives enough time to experience the core gameplay loop. It's a great opportunity to dive into a richly detailed fantasy world.
