Free Play Days – NBA 2K27, Crusader Kings III, The Alters, Bus Simulator 21, Soccer Story and Ravenswatch

Xbox players have another busy weekend ahead with the latest Free Play Days Lineup. The headline names NBA 2K27, Crusader Kings III, The Alters, Bus Simulator 21, Soccer Story and Ravenswatch, while the official description highlights Subnautica for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members, plus Project Motor Racing, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, and Graveyard Keeper for all Xbox users. Here is what to know about the offer and how to take part.

What Free Play Days Means for Xbox Players

Free Play Days is a recurring Xbox program that lets players try selected games for a limited time at no cost. It gives you a chance to test a title before spending money, with no commitment attached.

Each event usually covers a mix of genres, from sports and Strategy to survival and racing. That variety means there is often something for casual players and dedicated fans alike.

The program is also a low-pressure way to catch up on games you may have skipped. If you have been curious about any of this weekend's titles, this is the time to try them.

Subnautica Arrives for Game Pass Members This Weekend

According to the description, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members can enjoy Subnautica this weekend. The underwater survival adventure drops you onto an alien ocean world where you gather resources, craft gear, and explore.

The game rewards curiosity, with deep caves, strange creatures, and a story that unfolds as you dive deeper. Anyone who enjoys exploration and survival should find plenty to like.

Because it is limited to Game Pass tiers, make sure your membership is active before the weekend starts so you can jump straight in.

Free Games Available to Every Xbox User

Not everyone needs a subscription this time. Project Motor Racing, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, and Graveyard Keeper are free for all Xbox users during the event.

Project Motor Racing offers a realistic take on driving for fans of motorsport. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 brings large-scale action battles with beloved anime characters.

Graveyard Keeper takes a quirkier path, mixing management, crafting, and dark humor as you run a medieval cemetery. Together, the three games cover very different tastes.

The Wider Lineup Named in the Headline

The headline also lists NBA 2K27, Crusader Kings III, The Alters, Bus Simulator 21, Soccer Story and Ravenswatch. That suggests a broad selection spanning basketball, grand strategy, sci-fi storytelling, simulation, and roguelike action.

Availability and eligibility can vary by title, so check the official Xbox Wire post for the exact breakdown of which games are open to which players.

How to Join In and Start Playing Today

Participating is simple. Open the Xbox Store on your console or PC, find the Free Play Days games, and select the download option. Game Pass members can also look for the titles in their library.

Make sure you are signed in with the right Xbox account, and check that you have enough storage space. Some of these games are large, so starting the download early is wise.

Once installed, you can play for the duration of the event. When it ends, access closes unless you decide to buy the game or it is available Through your subscription.

Keep Your Progress If You Buy Later

One of the best features of Free Play Days is that your progress is typically saved. If you enjoy a game and purchase it afterward, you can usually pick up right where you left off.

That makes the trial feel worthwhile rather than disposable. Time spent building a base, a bloodline, or a racing career is not wasted if you decide to keep playing.

Take Advantage of Discounts on Featured Games

Xbox often pairs Free Play Days with limited-time discounts on the featured titles. If a game wins you over, you may be able to buy it at a reduced price while the promotion lasts.

Check the store listing for current pricing and offer details, since deals can differ by region and change without much notice.

Game Pass members may also receive extra member discounts on games they want to own permanently, which can stretch your budget further.

Tips for Making the Most of Your Weekend

With so many options, it helps to plan. Pick one or two games that match your mood rather than trying to sample everything, since the weekend goes quickly.

If you like long, immersive experiences, start with Subnautica or a strategy title. If you prefer quick sessions, a racing or action game may fit better.

Playing with friends can add to the fun, especially in games with multiplayer or co-op features. Invite a few people and compare impressions.
