Danny Masterson Trial: Actor Found Guilty on Two Counts of Rape

On Wednesday, November 17th, 2021, a jury in Los Angeles found actor Danny Masterson guilty of two counts of rape. The verdict comes after a retrial was ordered in the case after the first trial ended in a hung jury. Masterson, who is best known for his roles in "That '70s Show" and "The Ranch," faces up to 30 years in prison for his crimes.

The allegations against Masterson stem from incidents that occurred in 2001 and 2003. Three women, all former girlfriends of Masterson, accused him of raping them. During the trial, the prosecution presented evidence that Masterson used his celebrity status and position of power to coerce and manipulate the women into having sex with him.
