Now, a left-leaning nonprofit in the state has launched a major ad campaign targeting Boebert's views on prescription drug costs and federal social safety net programs.

The six-figure campaign, launched by ProgressNow Colorado, is aimed at pressuring Boebert to support measures that would lower the cost of prescription drugs for Colorado residents and strengthen federal social safety net programs like Medicare and Social Security. The group's ads, which will run on television stations across the state, highlight the fact that Boebert has taken thousands of dollars in campaign donations from the pharmaceutical industry and has a history of opposing legislation that would benefit low-income families and seniors in her district.

Boebert, who has been a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump and has promoted baseless conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, has not yet responded to the ad campaign. However, her spokesperson, Ben Stout, defended her record on healthcare issues in a statement to Colorado Public Radio.

"Congresswoman Boebert has always been committed to lowering healthcare costs and increasing access to care for all Coloradans
