The Florida Panthers entered the Stanley Cup Final with high hopes and aspirations to bring the championship trophy back to the Sunshine State. However, their journey hit a bump in the road as they suffered a 5-2 defeat in Game 1 against the impressive Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena in Sin City. While the loss was a setback, the Panthers have plenty of reasons to be confident as they look to bounce back in the rest of the series.

The Panthers have had an impressive season, finishing second in the Central Division with a record of 37-14-5. Their success has been built on a solid defense and an offense that can score in bunches. Led by players like Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau, and Aaron Ekblad, the Panthers have been a force to be reckoned with throughout the regular season and the playoffs.

However, the Panthers struggled to find their footing in Game 1 against the Golden Knights. After going down a goal early in the first period, the Panthers managed to tie it up at 1-1 through a goal from Mason Marchment. However, the Golden Knights responded with a goal of their own to take a 2-1 lead heading into the second period.
