On June 17, 2021, Microsoft held its Xbox Games Showcase Extended event, which featured all-new trailers, gameplay footage, and announcements from a variety of game studios. The showcase was hosted by Kinda Funny's Greg Miller and included interviews with developers, behind-the-scenes looks, and deep dives into upcoming Xbox games. Here's everything that was announced and revealed during the conference.

First up was Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl, a post-apocalyptic first-person shooter developed by GSC Game World and set in a world where Chernobyl is once again the site of a major disaster. A new gameplay trailer was shown, with a look at several of the game's environments, weapons, and enemies.

Next was Forza Horizon 5, the highly anticipated racing game from Playground Games. A new trailer was shown, detailing the game's incredible graphics and open-world environment based on Mexico. The game promises a more immersive experience than any previous Forza title, with dynamic weather, changing seasons, and a vast range of different terrains to explore.

A new trailer for Outer Worlds 2 was also revealed during the conference. Although the trailer did not provide many details on the game, it did give fans a general sense
