Square Enix, one of the biggest names in the video game industry, has just released a demo of its much-anticipated game, Final Fantasy 16 for the PlayStation 5 console. The demo is available to download right now, and those who take part will be able to carry over their save progress when the full game is released on June 22.
According to Polygon, Final Fantasy 16 takes place in the world of Valisthea, a land filled with magical crystals that grant immense power to individuals known as Dominants. Players take on the role of Clive Rosfield, a young man who sets out to protect his younger brother Joshua, who also possesses Dominance.
The demo promises exciting gameplay, complete with challenging battles, a beautiful open world, and a thrilling story. Additionally, players will have the opportunity to try out the new battle system, which introduces a new mechanic called "Elemental Affinities." This feature allows players to exploit the various weaknesses that enemies have, making battles more strategic than ever before.
